We’ve been fortunate to complete several projects throughout La Cima, and today’s floor is definitely one to remember. Our customer chose our popular Domino flake blend and added a custom yellow accent to proudly represent his school colors—and we think it turned out fantastic!

After what felt like THREE weeks of dodging raindrops, checking forecasts, and playing weather roulette, we finally got to complete this beautiful oversized garage for the Sullivan family in River Chase!

This floor features our Cyprus flake blend, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

A little behind-the-scenes fact: Epoxy and flake floor systems don’t play well with rain. Even if it isn’t raining at your house, high humidity, moisture, or a forecast showing more than about a 10% chance of rain can affect the installation and final result. That’s why we’re sometimes forced to postpone jobs—even when the weather ends up looking fine later in the day.

We know waiting isn’t fun, but protecting the quality of your floor will always come first. @

One thing that sets us apart is what happens after the install.

This week alone, we’ve had several past customers call us because they upgraded appliances, moved things around, or accidentally damaged a section of their floor years after we originally installed it. Some needed additional flakes added after installing a smaller water heater or softener, others had scratches from moving equipment or furniture.

And you know what? We showed up.

Even when the damage wasn’t caused by us, we believe in taking care of the people who trusted us with their floors in the first place. Some of these customers are from projects we completed 4, 5, even 6 years ago.
