For our August sale, our “Serving and Doing for Others” will benefit the Lawrence County Sheriffs K-9, Baki. Baki is Baki is an 8-year-old Belgium Malinois who graduated from the Pittsburgh Police K-9 Academy in 2020 and has been partnered with handler Deputy Sheriff John Baldelli of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office since his graduation. Baki is from the Czech Republic and is a dual-purpose working K-9, highly trained in explosives and patrol work, including apprehension assistance.
Baki assists multiple agencies and serves with the Region 13 Counter-terrorism Task Force. He has conducted several searches for explosives at venues including Wal-Mart, schools, and indoor and outdoor events, including Presidential and Vice-Presidential appearances in the Western Pennsylvania region.

Baki is currently battling cancer and all funds raised will go directly towards his treatment costs.

How this works at the barn:
▪️anyone who gives a monetary donation during the August barn sale will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate. Two names will be chosen and the gift certificates can be used with ANY of our vendors during a barn sale in 2026.

ALSO, we will be having a “Cutest Vendor Pet Contest” this weekend! Pet pictures will be in the downstairs of the barn and voting will be done with change, change war style! Bring your change to vote for the cutest pet! All proceeds will go towards our Serving & Doing for Others.
