A lot of times tree or stump jobs are not about the work involved or the money. But it's the little things I get to see or the wonderful people I get to meet. On this occasion after completing a small tree job the home owner gave my wife and I a tour of her family's cottage that has high historical value in Michigan. A 159 yr old house!!!

This tree was a fun one! Because of the difficult access to this tree and with it being just a few feet from the waters edge, the decision was made to cut and lower the tree to the ground without damaging the customers seawall and tow across the lake with my boat .The plan worked to a T. Here's a short video of me towing it with my boat. 💪 🚢

One of my favorite things I get to do in this line of work is meet new people! This wonderful lady was such blessing to meet. She shared with us that her and her husband have been married for 69 years!!!! That is unbelievable!
