Introducing PRIDE IN THE PARK(ing lot) Vendor: Your Q***r Plant Shop

Your Q***r Plant Shop grew out of George & Anika’s love for each other, their mutual obsession with plants, and their mission to donate to black and q***r organizations/movements. They mostly grow and propagate their own plants from their apartment greenhouses (i.e. they do not buy from a grower). This means that each plant was grown with their individual care and attention.

It’s spooky season 😁👻 Those are skunk bones in the big terrarium.
I found them in the woods. I posted them in a terrarium group online and someone said the skunk was gonna angrily haunt me. 👻

Wednesday, in front a lily pond in full bloom, we got engaged 🪷💕
The outpouring of love from our friends, each other and chosen family has been so very uplifting and warm and we feel that love deeply. As most may know, the reality of getting engaged as a q***r couple isn’t shocking. There’s all this love for each other and love from siblings and friends, all intertwined with having to face the fact that there are people that we love who aren’t happy for us and will never be, simply because of who we are. If you can relate, you are not alone.
🪷We are choosing to lean into love more than anything else, always. Thank you for being a part of our journey and cheering us on, we have truly found our community with you 🍃
