Laydon Industries is seeking a Corporate Controller who is ready to step into a Chief Financial Officer role within six months.

This is a senior, in-office leadership position at our New Haven headquarters for a seasoned finance professional with deep construction industry experience. The successful candidate will work closely with our current CFO and executive leadership to manage and strengthen all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow, forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning.

We are looking for someone who brings:
• 8–10 years of financial management experience
• Construction industry expertise
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
