Installation Finish Work — ArtYard
For “In the Company of Still Life”, we were brought in to help transform the gallery at ArtYard into a Spanish villa–inspired architectural environment.
Working closely with Alex and Clara on their creative vision, finish sampling and development were established collaboratively before full production began. The team then created custom textures and layered washes across newly constructed temporary walls and existing gallery surfaces — building depth, movement, and age into each plane.
Scope included:
• Custom texture builds on installation walls
• Multi-layered color washes for tonal variation
• Seamless integration between temporary and permanent structures
• Full protection and containment within an active gallery space
Gallery lighting exposes everything. Every variation was intentional. Every edge controlled.
This was a tremendous collaborative effort and would not have been possible without the many talented, artistic, and visionary individuals who worked tirelessly to bring the exhibition to life.
We’re grateful to have played a role in the process, proud to support ArtYard, and honored to have collaborated with such a talented exhibition team on a project where the walls became part of the artwork itself.
