It started with a patio roof and ended with a whole poolhouse. Anytime we ran into an option the question was asked, "what would you do?" Well here it is....

20x30 poolhouse with an 8x8 changing room, 12x8 storage shed, dry bar, wood burning fireplace, wood storage, and lounging area.

I wish this was all our idea but the homeowners really made it their own with a clear vision and desires outcome. Let us help you execute your next dream!

In 2025 we pushed the limits, tried new things, and made friends along the way. Every single job (not all of them are pictured here, sorry I could only make 15 pictures work) grew while we were there. We've added bars, replaced siding, and even built an additional poolhouse after we started the original scope of work. We take it as a sign that our customers trust us, appreciate our craftmanship and see the value in having their investments done right. We absolutely love what we do and are so appreciative to our customers who allow us to work for them.

2026 is virtually closed out already and can't wait to get started. Cheers to a Happy New Year's.

Lets talk about framing for a moment....

It was a tight fit in Frankfort but we were able to squeeze in below a second floor window and still splice into the main elevation of the house. In order to maintain a minimum 3/12 pitch that aligned with the gutter of a 10/12 pitch we found the perfect height for our carrier beam to be 9 5/16" below the top plate of the exterior wall. Unfortionately the first floor dining room wall prevented us from being able to lower our carrier beam to that height. The fix to this was to reduce our our HAP (height above plate) which then lead us hanging all of our rafters. It also gave us only a few inches to flash below the second floor window. It was tight but where there is a will there is a way!

We matched the Owens Corning Roofing shingles, Quality Edge fascia/soffit/gutter, installed eden valder stone and LP Smart Trim and Ceiling with a Sherwin-Williams paint. Shout out to Vander Veer Concrete for the footings and flat work, .wooten for the electrical, Sicily Mennite of Richard's Building Supply in Frankfort for always tracking down our unique exterior needs and Justin West of Schillings Mokena who always comes through for our lumber needs.

Frankfort is so close we couldn't help but post photos! Check out that cedar herringbone, LP Smart Side, and Pangaea stone. Thank you Vander Veer Concrete for nailing the stamped patio and footings. And thank you TTS Granite, Inc. for the leathered finish countertops!

We're excited to finally show off our recent project! We added this 20x25 gable roof (with cathedral ceiling). In order to do so we had to add a larger saddle between the house and the addition to divert water away from both. Luckily we're not just carpenters, we also have a state licensed roofing contractor and are comfortable installing multiple types of roofing materials. In this case we combined architectural shingles with modified bitumen.

Got a challenging design? Give us a call!

Shout out to Vander Veer Concrete for the beautiful slab and footings, as well as J.Wooten Contracting for the electrical work!

Just a quick little sun room makeover.

We traded in the old screens for Anderson windows and a Thermatru door. We upgraded the flooring to Stanton vinyl plank (Thanks Matt Pehr and The Floor 4U) and installed new trim. 10 out of 10 we'd read Fine Home Building in this room.

We don't often take on siding jobs anymore but when the nicest elderly lady needed a hand we couldn't say no.
We took this garage down to its original 1x8 sheathing, repaired some bad wood, wrapped it with tyvek, cut in the proper soffit ventilation, installed aluminum flashing around the window and doors, installed new aluminum fascia/soffit/gutters/downspouts, hung Market Square vinyl siding and even replaced her 60 year old light.

I still get nervous before doing short informative videos. In this one I mess up and refer to the stone as brick 🤦🏼‍♂️but I think I made my point clear otherwise.
