I went for productive dahlias over anything else this season. Don’t get me wrong, I love large dinnerplates and other fancy varieties but with limited space I had to prioritize production. Castle drive, blizzard, double Jill, and a few other varieties have been pumping out the blooms this year 🙌🏻

Dahlia season’s in full swing and I couldn’t be happier 🙌🏻. It’s been a tough season for growing with the pest and deer pressure here but we seem to be through the worst of it 🤞🏻

Out in the small cut flower garden I planted for myself 🙌🏻. The color combo between the roses, ageratum, and asters is so beautiful! I’ll definitely be planting more roses next season 😍

Lakeview Peach Fuzz is a new variety of dahlia this year and I have to say, it’s one of the most productive dahlias so far! The downside is it doesn’t last very long in a vase! Still a beauty to grow though!

Zowie yellow flame zinnias are a new variety I tried here this year and they’re absolutely a keeper! These flowers in general are work horses, but the color on these are insane!

It’s lily season and I swear they always pop at the same time no matter how hard I try and succession plant them 😂. This is my first time growing lilies in crates and I’ll never go back to growing in the ground! It was such a success 🙌🏻 I had to organza bag the lilies because the deer were munching on them before I could harvest 🤦🏻‍♂️. Thankfully it worked like a charm!
