I've been at an IT conference all week. It has been a great conference but boy do I miss my family. I made it my mission to get up early everyday and read my Bible in the lobby and journal. This has helped keep me grounded while being away from my family. I also had a mission to bring up my faith with every person I encountered. This has led to some amazing conversations that I believe will lead to life long friendships. God is on the move and even in what I would consider one of the darkest cities in the country, He is alive and active.

Great read! A lot of people don't read the preface of their Bibles, but you should! The KJV translators had wisdom that transcends through time and speaks to why modern translations are important. If you don't believe me, go read the KJV 1611 note from the translators preface.
