Dear Plantists,

Father's Day is this Sunday.

Around here, Father's Day looks a little different. It might mean a trip to the plant shop, adding something new to the collection, or spending an afternoon building a terrarium together.

To celebrate, we're featuring two of our favorite Venus flytraps this weekend. Purchase a Venus Flytrap ‘Big Mouth’ and get a Venus Flytrap ‘Red Piranha’ for 50% off.

‘Big Mouth’ is known for its oversized traps and vigorous growth, while ‘Red Piranha’ is famous for its deep red color and dramatic teeth. Together, they’re a pretty good reminder that growing plants doesn’t have to be boring.

The sale runs through Father’s Day while supplies last.

June 20: Bog Workshop is perfect for anyone fascinated by carnivorous plants. We’ll guide you through building your own miniature bog garden while teaching you how these strange plants actually live in the wild and how to keep them thriving at home.

June 24: Birdcage Terrariums, where we transform vintage-inspired birdcages into lush living environments filled with tropical plants, moss, texture, and atmosphere. Equal parts plant workshop and art project.

Dear Plantists,

Some goodies for you this weekend at the shop.

We got in a small batch of tropicals, including Alocasia Loco, Alocasia Frydek, Alocasia Polly, Alocasia Silver Dragon, Epipremnum Giganteum Marble Variegated, and Philodendron Holtonianum.

There are of course some carnivorous plants in the mix too, plus Hoyas and other things we’re currently excited about.

A reminder that our large pots 6.5" and up are 20% off right now and we’ve got workshops coming up if you want to come make something with us.

Dear Plantists,

A fresh shipment arrived this week, and it brought some truly interesting plants with it.

We’ve unpacked a mix of uncommon species, collector favorites, and a few plants we don’t see nearly often enough.

A few highlights:

• Alocasia ‘Teletubbies’
• Epipremnum giganteum ‘Marble Variegated’
• Euphorbia Pineapple
• Senna meridionalis
• Stephania erecta
• Trichodiadema bulbosum

…and more.

We’re also celebrating Philodendron Friday tomorrow, June 5th with a selection of 2” Philodendrons under $20. Whether you’re picking up your first Philodendron or adding another to the collection, it’s a great excuse to bring one home.

As always, quantities are limited, and the most interesting plants rarely stay on the shelves for long.

Hello everyone!

Today our baby girl is graduating from Kindergarten and it’s Jeff’s birthday and is enjoying a well deserved day off.

We will be closing up the shop early today at 1pm - May 22.

Come see us before 1pm or we will reopen tomorrow at 10am.
