This “New Heart” Pine T&G flooring has been fairly popular lately. While it doesn’t have all the older growth characteristics of the antique heart pine it is a great substitute at a fraction of the cost. The yellow pine trees used to produce this product are generally 70-150 years old and the lumber is all cut from the inner heartwood. The face sizes also match much of the older heart pine flooring @ 3.25”, 4.25”, and 5.38” wide. Happy Saturday!

We received a load of 5/4 live edge yesterday and just finished cleaning all the boards up. The average piece is around 5/4x6”-8”x6’. Great for cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and utensils due to its natural antimicrobial properties. Super hard and beautiful as well!

It’s been a rough year for walnut with many of the premium logs being shipped overseas but this is a great batch of 6/4, 7-8’ long we just milled up. We’ll be looking to increase our inventory in the near future and hopefully find some consistent, high quality lumber.

We can custom manufacture 7’-12’ solid wood flooring out of any hardwood but has been by far been the most popular for the last 10-15 years. Generally it is ideal to keep the face size under 6” to avoid any potential cupping issues but we also sell engineered flooring 7”-7.5” wide if you are looking for a larger coverage option. The engineered flooring comes in a variety of grades, thicknesses, and core builds so feel free to reach out for more information if interested.
