On Wednesdays we go to the capitol!💅🏻🚘🏛
We had a great time meeting up with amazing women from Lift Louisiana and 10,000 Women to show our support for multiple bills surrounding issues of women’s healthcare, LGBT+ rights, and many others. One bill focused on protecting pregnant women seeking emergency care after miscarriage was voted down because some legislators believed it to be pro abortion. We’re disappointed to see that Louisiana is not only becoming dangerous for women seeking abortions, but also for women’s health in general. It reminds us that our fight is far from over. We will be returning to the capitol in the future, so stay tuned if you would like to join us!
