A New Look, Same Bold Vision

Since 2017, we’ve dedicated ourselves to crafting designs that are as timeless as they are empowering. Today, we’re thrilled to unveil a fresh chapter of our journey with a new website, logo, and tagline. As a Black woman-owned business powered by an exceptional team of mostly women, this new look reflects the strength, creativity, and the foundation of everything we do.

In light of this election season, we’re reminded of the unique burdens Black women shoulder—and how much we rely on one another’s support. For those in our community, here are some suggested ways to uplift Black women.

• Speak Up for Representation: If you’re on a panel, event lineup or publication lacking Black women, advocate for their inclusion. Suggest Black women who bring expertise and fresh perspective.

• Build Bridges in Your Networks: If you’re part of a trade organization, connect with Black women and invite them to join. We’d be happy to help connect you with our extensive network of Black women in design.

• Recommend and Refer: Opportunities often arise through referrals. Recommend Black women for projects and roles; your referral can be the difference in elevating a business

Let’s talk about cement tile—love it or leave it? Some designers say they’re ‘over it’ because of the staining and upkeep, but here’s the real deal: It’s all about proper installation.
This bathroom project took two tries to get it right! Cement tile can develop a beautiful patina over time, but sealing it properly is key to keeping it looking fresh. Here’s our process: seal before install, after install, and once more post-grout. What’s your take on cement tile?
