It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Al Culp. Al started Pasco Exterior Coatings back when painters did not have a good reputation in Pasco County. He worked hard to change that by providing the jobs he could be proud of. Al had gone into the army at a young age and learned a work ethic that kept him going the rest of his life. Always trying the next product, system, or anything that would improve how jobs could be done, and what we could do for our customers. For over 40 years, he worked side-by-side with his wife, Kathy Culp. They built a business founded on the tenants of honesty and integrity. keeping in mind what’s best for the customer and doing what he said he would do. Al worked most of his life after the military in one form of construction or another. Carpenter, barn builder, drywaller, and painter. He used all of his experiences to advance and influence painting as he saw it should be done.
We thank you for all the good times. As husband, father, business owner and master of many side interests. Captain Al, Road Captain Al, boater, diver, spear fisher, motorcycle enthusiast both on and off road over the years. You showed us a lot and will always be honored and remembered.
The company will be carried on by his wife Kathy Culp. His son Allen Culp and daughter in law Marie Phares. Our work family extends to Frank Livingood, Jimmy Anderson, Paul Hartman, Ari Jenni, and Matt Anderson who in addition to being a huge part of our lives and success have stepped in and made things easier for us in this heavy time.
We thank you all for the many years of good times, good stories and prosperity we’ve had in Pasco County and hope to serve you again I. The future.
