🚨 BIG NEWS, PASCO COUNTY FAMILIES! 🚨

Pasco County Animal Services is launching our FIRST‑EVER Youth Animal Academy — a week‑long summer camp designed for young animal lovers ready to learn, explore, and make a difference.

From June 1st–5th, children will spend a full week discovering what it means to care for animals with compassion, responsibility, and respect.

Each day is packed with hands‑on experiences, animal care education, and compassion‑driven learning. By the end of the week, campers will celebrate their graduation as newly empowered advocates for animals and their community.

💲 $50 full‑week tuition
⏰ 8:30am–4:00pm (optional before/after care available)
🍎 Campers bring their own meals and snacks.
🚸Open to children ages 5-11

🎉New Year's celebrations are synonymous with fireworks. Keep your pets safe this holiday!

Safe Space - if your pets have firework anxiety, create a safe & calming spot away from noise or company for them (comfy crate, white noise, soothing treats, etc)

Perimeter Check - secure all doors & windows to prevent escape. Make certain that all outside gates are latched & there are no fence gaps.

Identification - make sure pets wear ID! At minimum, write your phone number on the collar with permanent marker. Microchip your pets & make sure your contact info is current.

Leave Them Indoors - if possible, leave pets inside... especially during fireworks.

Leash To Go Outside - when going out to potty, leash your pet to avoid them running off or jumping a fence out of fear.
