Siri, the alchemist of hues, weaves magic in her studio. 🌈✨ Conjuring textures, colors, and patterns in sixes, she channels her deep study into vibrant gifts that resonate with energy. šŸ’« A devoted colorist and passionate collagist, she dives into the infinite dance of hue, tone, texture, and value, exploring every variation like a true seeker. šŸŒŒšŸŽØ

It’s easy to view her busy at work preparing packages of color, after all, she named this series ā€œSanta’s Workshopā€.

We couldn’t resist resharing this post by
a day of colour
from books with wheels of colour
to glass lanterns aloft with birds
to gigantic sunflowers on carpets
& pale pink shadows cast on walls
& more sunflowers, chrome yellow, of course,
the grand finale, Alexandra Loske's
colour theory found on pages of books,
Mary Gartside's colour blots stole the show.

A completely unplanned and really quite unbelievable moment at the opening of The Kabbalah Paintings from the 1980s!
These three individuals had never met before and we caught them all looking at a single piece of art at the show--"Kabbalah," 1985 (SBE0478-I). As it turns out, all three were studio assistants for Siri at various times over close to 40 years:
Vidhya Kamdar was Siri's last intern from about 2010-2018
Roula Fokas was an intern in the late 1990s thru early 2000s
Ryan Lilienthal was an apprentice in the 1980s
