Plants, Paint & Passion!

NYRP will be hosting an Open Garden Day at Maggie's Garden (564 West 149th St) on Saturday, June 1st! Open Garden Day will include Jazz from the musical group Parlor Entertainment, a cookout, reiki and mediation, poetry, local vendors, and activities for children and young adults.

MyCityOasis will be hosting a 'Paint Your Own Pot' workshop on Sunday, June 2nd! Stop by our Upper East Side location anytime between 11 am and 6pm to paint your own pot or one of our own. $10 participation fee (pots not included),

Vegetarian and Vegan Meal Kits with ingredients from local farms will be offered through MyCityOasis from Tuesday, June 4th. Details will be made available on our website from Sunday, June 2nd.

MyCityOasis will be sponsoring a Juneteenth Celebration in collaboration with On Site Opera on June 19th at 6 pm at the West Side Community Garden (123 W 89th St). The celebration will include music curated by Grammy Award-winning singer Kenneth Overton, featuring some of New York City's most prominent Black composers and librettists. We hope to see you there!

Get Ready for the Growth Spurt: Plants, whether they are indoors or outdoors, will be enjoying growth spurts in the coming weeks. Get ready to keep up with an increase in their watering needs and perhaps even venture into propagating your favorite plant for your friends and family.

Events around NYC: Brooklyn Grange, a leader in rooftop farming and green roofing, are offering rooftop farming, fabric dyeing and beekeeping workshops at its Brooklyn Navy Yard location throughout the summer. Consider taking the ferry from the 90th St. landing to make the journey to the Navy Yard a special one!

Herb & Vegetable Plants: Tomato, pepper and salad plants, as well as herbs, can thrive indoors in containers. Come and talk to us about the possibilities.

Thank You for Your Support!

We wouldn't be what we are today without your support. We not only enjoyed meeting you; we also learned a lot from you about what works and doesn't work in the apartments, fire escapes, balconies and gardens on the UES and beyond.

We will be closing 12/24 - 1/13 to recharge and plan the 2023 growing season. During this time, some of our plants that require a more frequent watering schedule than others may not do so well. Therefore, as a token of our appreciation, we are offering the discount below for you to use on our more thirsty plants like the Fiddle Leaf Fig, Begonia, Lemon Bush and Fern.
