Not every door needs a keyhole on the outside. π€
A one-sided deadbolt locks from the inside only β and for certain doors in your home, that's actually the smarter choice. Think about it:
π A door connecting your garage to your home β no need to enter from outside, but you want it dead-bolted from within.
π A basement door β same idea. Interior access only.
π A back door or side door you never use as an entry point but want secured from inside.
π A home office or server room where you control access from the inside.
π A storage room with valuables β no outside keyhole means nothing to pick.
If there's no keyhole, there's nothing to pick, bump, or drill. And for doors that are strictly exit points β not entry points β why give a burglar something to work with?
