BFA recently completed a renovation of Presidential Towers' generous 2,200-square-foot lobby. Designed by renowned architect , known for his Miami Modern hotels, the 17-story, 1963 residential coop building is his only apartment building in New York. BFA was tasked with restoring its lobby while adding amenities including an ADA ramp, an accessible mailroom, and a larger package room, in addition to upgrading the air conditioning and lighting for resident comfort.

The CINTAS Foundation has announced the 2021 Fellowship Finalists in Architecture and Design. Supporting Cuban arts and Humanities since 1963, the CINTAS Foundation has encouraged the development of creatives including visual artist Carmen Herrera and architect Andres Martin Duany. Our very own Belmont Freeman sat on the selection committee for this year's fellowship picks.

BFA’s residential project in is designed to “Low Energy Building” standards. Extensive landscaping protects wetlands and restores the site’s original meadows and native species.

BFA is at work on an oceanfront residential complex on . It comprises one main bedroom, a guest house, a spa and lap pool, a studio, a carport, and a commercial grade greenhouse for rose cultivation.

BFA lightly refurbished the original 1906 lockers in 's EC 23, retaining the carved initials and decals left by many generations of firefighters.

Our work on 's EC 23 included restoring the intricate cast iron staircase to the company's firetruck bay and adding facilities for female firefighters to the building.
