Our objective is to help our clients visualize their thoughts and meet the programmatic requirements. rall experience. We accomplish this by maintaining a high level of involvement throughout the project delivery process as well as incorporating the latest computer drawing and visualization technology using Building Information Modeling also known as BIM, for the documentation of our drawings.

The fleeting beauty of the Hudson Valley in autumn was a central inspiration when designing this Austerlitz, NY home. Just a few hours outside the city, our clients envisioned a retreat that would immerse them in the surrounding landscape. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed in black draw the eye beyond the walls to the vibrant foliage. A roof deck offers a sweeping vantage point, while a vanishing-edge pool creates the sensation of swimming directly into the valley itself.

Meet SDSA! Today we are featuring Associate Principal John Gordon. John has over 25 years of experience practicing architecture and interior design for a variety of project types ranging from condominium, commercial, retail, theater, to high-end residential. John is a member of the AIA and was an assistant professor (adjunct) at the New York Institute of Technology. Originally from Ohio, John is registered in NY, NJ, and CT, and has been a Registered Architect since 2004. He received his Masters of Architecture from The University of Michigan, College of Architecture and Urban Planning in Mathematics & B.A. in German Language from Case Western Reserve University. John is also the chairperson of the Maplewood Historic Preservation Commission. John's impressive experience, expertise, and passion for historic preservation are just a few his qualities that make him highly valued here at .

What used to be a cozy sunroom is now an elegant extension of the primary bedroom. Our clients wanted to wake up to their beautiful park view, so we removed the obstructing wall to make their dream a reality. The result? Meet the faces of SDSA! This week are proud to feature designer Ross Kuchin. Ross is a talented and accomplished designer hailing from Princeton, NJ. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and went on to earn a Master of Architecture from Parsons School of Constructed Environments. Ross has worked on a diverse range of projects, including high-end residential properties located in some of the most coveted destinations in the United States including New York City, Florida, Martha’s Vineyard, Kiawah, and the Hamptons. His extensive experience and attention to detail have earned him a reputation as a skilled and dependable architectural designer.

She completed a 4-year apprenticeship as a drafter specialized in architecture, as well as a 1-year vocational school for design, art and culture. These programs have honed her skills as a talented designer and drafter. Not only is Olivia passionate about design but she is also an avid photographer, capturing the beauty of the world around her.
