Kitchen drawer dedicated to day to day dinnerware. We can add dividers to organize it better but since it is working fine for now and is actually easy to take out bowls and plates, so leaving it as is. Tip: Don’t just buy organizers just for the sake of it, evaluate if it is needed.

Struggle to find good Food storage containers is real and then organization is always an issue. I like using glass containers and bought these 80oz glass jars from Amazon. Before buying I evaluate how many do I want and what size which will fit my cabinets. Tip: Since all are tall same size, so in order to fit more in one cabinet, few are kept behind but in such a way that one can see the ones behind with the gap in jars which are in front.

Before and After of Books organization. See tips below:

Tip 1: Always keep your books straight and never tilted. You can also stack but try to have a small stack else it will be difficult to take out book kept lower in stack

Tip 2: Segment books by genre or ownership if you are living with other readers. Once segmented, further organise by colour or thickness or length of book or A-z by name/author

Tip4: For straight display, use book ends (link below) and face books towards same side so one can read all titles from one direction.

Tip5: For a bookshelf or wherever you display books, give it a character by adding few accent pieces. Or use stylish bookends. Here I used a no show ones and added few art pieces as accent. Swipe right to see book stand used here

Utensils drawer. The drawer which is generally cluttered even with organizer. Occasional organizing is required for this and it takes less than 10 min. Take out irrelevant stuff and add whatever is most used. Remember, few min of organization can save a lot of stressful time in kitchen.

A little late, but finally packed winter clothing. Pack your sweaters rolled up or three fold and keep vertical so you can see all at once. Now whenever weather changes, you can quickly take out once you open suitcase, instead of struggling to find the one. And bonus is you can fit more clothes this way. Try it yourself :)

Added a utensil organizer and shelves to the rental kitchen cabinet - not only these added more space, things are more organized so every utensil is clearly in sight and can be taken out easily. You can find these on or Tip: big utensils which you do not use frequently can be kept at back so front seat is occupied by day to day cooking utensils. Best way to organize a drawer is to categorize stuff and then try to get a box based on category and size. Not only does this look good, it also helps you find things easy. Tip: try not to overload, this may lead to drawers getting stuck or getting unorganised faster. Things you don’t need vet often, can be kept on higher or lower shelves in a basket or container.

Travel organization. Fold your clothes and keep them vertical so you can see all the items in one go. For a bit thicker clothes like denims, roll them. This is really helpful if you are planning to live out of suitcase for few days. It will avoid umpteen times of packing unpacking.
