Our commitment to service, attention to detail, project follow-through and sound business knowledge have attracted a wide spectrum of private and public clients. Our extensive client list includes businesses, agencies, institutions, real estate developers, schools, and not-for-profit organizations; for most clients we have completed multiple projects. Our firm is known for creative, innovative design that is practical, appropriate, and suits the needs of the users. Because we have worked on a variety of projects - from schools to mixed-use projects, from urban planning to community facilities - we have developed sensitivity to the particular needs of each.

This past Saturday MAP staff, family, and friends volunteered at the Corden, a new affordable and supportive housing development by our non-profit partners New Destiny Housing. Our team put together furniture and décor for the children’s play room. We’re deeply appreciative for these opportunities to give back to the communities we design for and really value the learning that happens when we do. Thank you for hosting us New Destiny!

The 3-phase Linden Terrace development celebrated this week! Phase 1 had a ribbon cutting, and Phases 2 and 3 (both NYSERDA ) had groundbreakings. These buildings will bring 548 affordable homes to East New York. Developer: Radson Development

Just announced… The Corden is a 2021 Brick Industry Association Brick In Architecture Award winner! Designed for New Destiny Housing, the building provides 62 new homes for low-income households, with 37 reserved for families from domestic violence shelters.

A community room and roof terrace with a view! 6309 Fourth Avenue, which topped off in early February, will provide 84 units of for seniors and 5 UPK classrooms. This multi-building development which includes the adaptive reuse of adjacent townhomes will be all-electric, supplemented by rooftop solar. Developer: Fifth Avenue Committee

MAP’s Sunset Park Library project is in the final stages of construction. This 8-story building will provide 50 permanently affordable housing units for Sunset Park residents. The Sunset Park branch Brooklyn Public Library designed by Mitchell/Giurgola will occupy parts of the cellar, ground, and second floors.

Contractor: Galaxy General Contracting Inc.

One day, two awards for Villas at the Ridgeway! On Wednesday, the development won an Impact Award at the AIA Tri-State Conference and also received a Merit Award at the Awards ceremony.

Sunset Park indeed! It’s and construction continues on The Sunset Park Library project. Developed by the nonprofit Fifth Avenue Committee and the Brooklyn Public Library, the building will provide 49 affordable apartments and a new home for the community’s library branch.
