Sometimes you have to do things poorly in order to get good at them.
Kris Kelso shared this truth that every founder needs to hear.
You can read all the books, take all the courses, listen to all the coaches. But there's only so much you can learn without actually doing it.
"Great coaching comes from experience, and experience comes from not-so-great coaching."
Think about it this way - you wouldn't want your first baseball game to be the World Series. You wouldn't want your first football game to be the Super Bowl.
You start small. You work out the kinks. You figure it out on a smaller stage where the stakes are lower. Then you slowly earn your way to the big moments.
Those small beginnings shouldn't be looked down upon. They're part of the process. Sometimes they're the most important part of becoming great at something.
Stop waiting until you're "ready." Start doing it poorly so you can get good at it.
