Here’s our f*cked up week!

✨Tuesday I finally finished posting about the hardest year of my life. 🙃

✨Wednesday at 4am we had someone break a window, enter into our shop, and smash our alarm panel. We estimate right now about $2100 worth of damage. We are also adding extra security measures which will be another $1000+ after this. I had to go into the store at 4am to file the police report. 🙃

✨ Thursday this older gentlemen tried to steal two of our perfumes from Fischersund, a family run perfumery in Iceland. They retail for $218 each. Luckily one of our employees saw him and asked him to hand it over, but he only gave her one, so he got away with one. 😡 (-$218)

✨Friday the same perfume was stolen again, so clearly it was cursed. This couple came in, enjoyed our shop and ate a sandwich at Falu House. He must have liked the scent because he ended up slipping it into his pocket before he ate his sandwich. 🤪 (-$218)

So in the last three days, these three men have cost us over $2500 in losses. We will also be investing more money into the business due to theft and burglary. Can we stop hurting small businesses?!

In the months following August, everything fell apart and the ripples that came from their decision was insane.

It impacted over 300 customers, 70 brands (with their staffs ranging from 1 person to corps), my own staff, the shipping company, and many others.

This ended up being a 20 minute recording so I have another part coming.

Meet Pepper 🐾

Pepper just turned 2 in April and has been coming to the store a couple days per week since she was 6 months old. She’s a rescue from Hondo, Texas through TracysPawsRescue ❤️

According to Wisdom Panel™ Pet DNA Tests, Pepper is 28% German Shepard, 12% Chihuahua, 12% Chow Chow, 10% Cattle Dog, 8% Pit Bull and 30% other. 🐶🐕

She’s a bit shy when meeting new people but if you take your time to say hello, you may just get a kiss! 💋
