The Montroy DeMarco Architecture Team celebrated the completion of the Top of the Rock revitalization by riding the new open-air attractions, The Beam and Skylift, and taking in the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of New York City. It's an honor to be a part of such an iconic and thrilling project. This was a true team effort and could not have been completed without everyone's hard work. Congratulations to Tishman Speyer, THG Creative, and the entire Top of the Rock Team. Cheers to all!

Working on the reimagination of the Top of the Rock visitor experience at 30 Rockefeller Center has been truly remarkable! MADGI is proud to have collaborated with Tishman Speyer, THG Creative, and the entire team to create such an iconic project. The Skylift is a thrilling, must-see attraction all visitors and New Yorkers will never forget. We're excited for it to be open and for all to experience!

Skylift, a new observation platform atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza was completed. It was designed by MADGI, experiential design firm THG Creative, and developer Tishman Speyer. The circular platform lifts off from roof level to elevate visitors 30 feet above the 70th-floor roof deck.

The Skylift at Top of the Rock in Midtown Manhattan is open to the public! This new open-air attraction is located on the 70th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The Skylift slowly lifts visitors 900 feet above street level on a revolving platform that rotates counterclockwise for several minutes, offering unobstructed 360-degree views of Manhattan before gradually descending to the Observation Deck. MADGI partnered with the Tishman Speyer Team and experiential designer, THG Creative, to create this amazing experience for visitors to enjoy spectacular views of NYC. The streamlined design and marble-like tiers were designed to complement Rockefeller Center’s Art Deco architecture. At night, the structure’s 96 LED pixel flutes illuminate in a colorful light show, which can also be customized to commemorate notable dates and holidays. The opening of Skylift also marks the completion of Rockefeller Center’s multi-year, campus-wide revitalization joining The Beam, an interactive photo experience on the 69th floor which opened last year and recreates the famous 1932 photograph “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper.” It was great working with Tishman Speyer and the entire Top of the Rock Team on such a remarkable project. Excellent work to all!
