Schooled at the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelors of Science in Architecture and then a Masters in Architecture at Yale University. Dale started her career teaching undergraduate and graduate level Architecture design at UCLA and Woodbury University in Los Angeles and opening an interior renovation and design firm in Los Angeles before moving to Manhattan in 2000. She fine-tuned her skills as the senior designer for Ingrao, Inc. and then Jamie Drake Design Associates. At Drake Design, she was responsible for the renovation of Gracie Mansion, where she headed the team that handled the 12,000 sq ft restoration, renovation and decoration of New York City’s mayoral residence. In 2003, she launched her eponymous firm and today she also has a design and lifestyle blog, “Bachelor by dale” where she shares her experiences in designing for men. Although men may know what they want in their home, they need an experienced designer who can work with them from conceptualizing their space to moving into a completely outfitted home. No matter the client, Dale stresses, “Our tireless attention to detail provides a level of service that frees up our clients to enjoy the process of designing their home while staying focused on their busy lives.”
