Post-construction hardwood floor rescue.

The contractor tried to clean these floors after construction, but instead of removing the dust, film, and residue, they trapped everything under a layer of polish. That left the hardwood looking cloudy, dirty, and uneven.

This is where Wood Vitalize comes in.
We performed a full hardwood floor deep cleaning, stripped off the contaminated polish, removed the embedded construction dirt and residue, and prepared the floors for a fresh protective finish.

Next step: recoating the hardwood with a beautiful extra-matte, eco-friendly polyurethane to bring the floors back to their clean, natural, original look.

Today’s project came out beautifully! The best part? We were able to preserve the original character, patina, and thickness of the hardwood floors without the need for a full sand and refinish.

The homeowner had removed the stone in front of the fireplace and was left with a section of missing hardwood flooring. Instead of sanding the entire floor, we carefully installed new wood, matched the character of the existing hardwood, and custom blended multiple stain colors to seamlessly flow into the surrounding floor.

We also repaired several areas where radiators had previously been removed, all while preserving the original hardwood throughout the home.

After the repairs were completed, we performed a dustless screen and recoat process, thoroughly cleaned the floors, and applied a beautiful eco-friendly semi-gloss finish to restore shine.
