Officially retired. My new job keeps me busy, plus I live near Paramus, NJ now, so I don't get to Staten Island very often. I am closing up shop, but my son in law and my other helper are available if anyone needs small jobs done around the house. Call me and I will give you a number they can be reached at. Sorry to anyone who has tried to contact me. I was in the hospital, I needed surgery and am currently in a cast and walking on crutches. I also dropped my phone, so I am waiting for Apple to send me another, hopefully I will beable to salvage my contact list.

Jobs are still piling up. Working 7 days this week, will take off next weekend, I need the rest! Thank you to all my regular customers for your patience.

Very busy time. Took on my son-in-law, James, to help out with the larger jobs. Teaching him how to do some of the smaller things on his own so I can send him out alone on the little jobs that are piling up.

So this couple waits nearly two years since Sandy, the homeowners association finally gets the stucco redone. The contractor breaks the kitchen window. He puts in a new pane, but breaks the locking mechanism. He tells them the model number, and says he will come back to install it. Never heard from again. I get called, the window locks themselves are broken. After ordering new ones, I install them today and of course, the locking mechanism the contractor ordered is the wrong one! Another two-three weeks before Andersen will deliver it. If the right piece was put in in the first place, this would have been done a month ago.All because a "licensed" contractor didn't know where to find the model number on an Andersen window. Thanks to the guys at Windowrama for their help today

Another "one job leads to three more" Went to fix a window lock on an Andersen casement window. Not only was the window put in wrong by another contractor (not even close to square), when the window pane was replaced by another contractor, he put the replacement pane in wrong, forced the lock down, breaking it. I hate it when people get ripped off!

Now the work is starting to come in. Doesn't look like I'll have many free weekends ahead.
