Spending several well needed days in to get re-nourished and inspired. It’s been a rough several months. Staying focused on my practice and the gratitude for friends, family, clients adding industry accolades and the visibility has been phenomenal and I am truly grateful. That said, the world at large is suffering and as a creative I am sensitive to the world. I am in it . I’d have to actively detach, disconnect, and or disassociate to not acknowledge that it has an impact on my spirit and my soul.

mural at the sparked a light in me. Turned over the ignition. To witness and see the forecast of the thought of a society, its promises, myths, its future was what I needed. To look upon the hope and the grief of the political atmosphere he lived and breathed into his art and in to my own reality was the first time I haven’t felt “gaslit” over the past two months.

I’ll hold onto that.
I also want to remind and share with you all to check out the podcast I share with where we connect with other creatives in conversation to share exactly the truth and honestly of navigating a creative life. It’s ups and downs and it’s moments of bliss!

That’s all for now. I’m heading to the house tomorrow to get another glimpse into the eye of the creator.
