Our mission is to connect people with place and believe this is the key to developing a successful interior that is not only beautiful, but a deeply personal reflection of its occupants. Using a confident mix of history, contemporary design, comfort and grace we are able to achieve interiors that are chic and timeless — both familiar and fresh at once. A truly personalized interior takes shape when client’s collections, artwork, heirlooms, taste and personality are incorporated into the design. Ultimately, interiors are not just spaces for living, but living spaces — and by grounding them in layers of color and texture, Carrier and Company produces highly detailed, yet comfortable and personalized spaces. Where we do it:

Current projects include private residences in New York City, Shelter Island, New Canaan, Wilton, and Naples, FL.

Thank you for featuring this very special project to kick off summer! This Martha’s Vineyard living room reflects a story that guided the project from the very beginning: the idea of a home that feels as though it has evolved over time.

We imagined the main living spaces as part of an original wood-and-stone island structure, with a more contemporary wing added later. That dialogue between old and new informed every decision, creating rooms that feel both timeless and connected to Martha’s Vineyard.

We commissioned artist Ran Adler to create a custom spiral artwork from horsetail rush, bringing texture, movement, and a handcrafted quality to the soaring space. 🌀

A sea of blue brings an inherent sense of calm to the primary bedroom. Layered through grasscloth walls, painted millwork, upholstery, and textiles, the palette creates depth and softness.
