A new design for a Fresh food market.
The space is part of a large commercial complex. The total market area is 23,464 sq.ft. covering two stories (Ground floor & Basement).

Aiming to create a cheerful and interesting shopping experience, the design used a mixture colors by integrating wall painting, wood ceiling panels, and also having a sense of transparency by exposing the mechanical units in the ceiling. The white ceiling allows the sun light to be more reflected into the interior space, and the large glass storefront allows a visual connection between indoor and outdoor.

Coastal cities in the east of the US are usually a desired destination in the summer season, but during the rest of the year, they suffer economically from the low occupancy and less visitors. But that does not apply to cities such as New York City or Jersey City. Why?

These cities rely on other sources of attraction, but most importantly they provide an urban development that welcomes all types of businesses, from small to corporate. Along with open public spaces and recreational activities, a city becomes vibrant and an attraction not just in the summer, but all year round.

Urban design is about understanding the city's challenges, and playing a crucial role in creating opportunities and sustainable economic growth.
