When you walk up to a booth at an art fair, just remember how much happens behind the scenes.
In addition to making each handmade piece, artists spend days preparing displays, packing inventory, traveling, setting up, selling, and then breaking everything down again.
Most art fairs are 2–3 full days of selling! It’s time-consuming, physically exhausting, and expensive, but we do it because we love making and sharing our work.
So when you buy handmade at an art fair, you’re supporting so much more than just one piece.
