Sou Fujimoto's House of Music in Hungary Opens to the Public.

Sou Fujimoto’s House of Hungarian Music, a contemporary cultural landmark dedicated to music in Budapest's City Park has officially opened its doors to the public. Considered as one of the most anticipated buildings of the year, the project is nestled within the park's trees, and is designed as an extension of its natural setting through uninterrupted glass volumes and a perforated roof structure. The museum offers a unique artistic experience combining landscape, architecture, and exhibition design, all dedicated to the creation of music and sound.

To reinforce the notion of “synergy and balance with nature” and to bring the experience of music to life through the interaction of light, sound, and nature, the architects used 94 customized heat-insulated and undivided glass panels to form a completely translucent facade, merging the exterior with the interior. The building's roof structure is pierced with 100 crater-like holes, inspired by the varying form of sound waves. The roof alternates between depths, allowing trees to integrate with the architecture whilst filtering light into the bottom level of the building. The light pe*******on creates a unique atmosphere as if visitors are walking under the trees within the interior space.

Agora Garden Tower, Taipei

The main target of « Tao Zhu Yin Yuan » project has been devoted to promoting carbon‐absorbing architecture, in order to decrease the temperature of the Earth. Faced with the crisis of global warming and climate change, it is must be participation of all enterprises in urging the governments to draft incentive programs that world lead to carbon reduction in the sector of industry, transportation and daily life. This project also carries out Fan’s Li philosophy and think of the world as one community. It makes changes that bring benefits to not only ourselves but to neighbor or even the entire world. The architectural concept is to eco‐design an energy selfsufficient building, whose energy is electric, thermal and also alimentary. The “Tao Zhu Yin Yuan” tower is directly inspired of the structure in double helix of the DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid), source of life, dynamism and twinning. Every double helix is represented in the project by two housing units forming a full level. Thus, from its base to the top, the 20 inhabited levels in double helix stretch themselves and twist themselves at 90 degrees.

Circles of Hope: Floating Community by Masoud Abedimoghadam

Lagos is a place full of pros and cons. Residents of this region feel that they really belong to Lagos, and they are not willing to evacuate to other places, but Lagos has some crucial problems. These problems lead to several difficulties regarding the daily life of people. In this proposal, the ambition is to envision a future for Lagos on water because water plays an essential role in this region. As a matter of fact, in this concept, residents still belong to the same context but in another structure, because they are fishermen and fishermen belong to the sea.

Based on the statements mentioned above, this proposal seeks to design communities that meet the demands and problems of the people that live in this context. In Makoko, there are a lack of health center, efficient schools, green spaces, fish farms, and several spaces for gardening. Hence, for this proposal, all of these factors were taken into consideration. Besides that, creating sustainable communities was another main point in the design process, which means that residents can harvest organic fruits and foods through the aquaponic system and their farms. Also, The community is capable of affording its energy and electricity utilizing the solar panel. Furthermore, human waste can be recycled and used as fertilizer through the barrels that not only work as a structure for floating each building but also can be a container for collecting human waste and use it as fertilizer over time.

Bond House, indonesia

The cross is one of the oldest diagrams of space organization in architectural history. Bond is designed through the interplay of intersecting elements coming together to shape plane-fields for gathering and recreation on all levels- a junction that unifies elements traveling in all directions. This work of lines frames the lush surrounding and forms no obstacle to the eye that is free for gazing.
