We designed John Hardy's first stand-alone boutique in Houston's River Oaks District around a single idea: Bali, translated. Every material — black walnut, hammered brass, etched glass, a hand-carved teakwood root mounted on brass sheets. Lighting that shifts throughout the day to mirror the arc of the Balinese sun — all chosen to say something true about who John Hardy is.

We were honored to be among 13 design firms invited to participate in the MillerKnoll In Bloom event — creating a floral arrangement and art installation housed in a MillerKnoll vase. The night brought together some of New York's best design minds for a celebration of creativity, craft, and a little friendly competition.
Our 10-minute design challenge creation may not have taken home the first place trophy — but we had the best time doing it!

Delivering great design within constraints is a skill in itself. Our project for International Shareholder Services was delivered as a landlord specification space with a tight budget, a detailed work letter, and limited room to stray. So we focused our energy where it counts: the details.
A wooden feature wall with a metal logo anchors the reception area, and thoughtful pops of color and pattern weave through the office, bringing warmth and personality to the space.
Projects like this remind us that great design isn't always about a sweeping concept — sometimes it's about building trust, working collaboratively with both landlord and client, and delivering a space that's on time, on budget, and better than expected.
