This is my custom-built home bar. We are preparing to sell our home and the realtor said remove all the alcohol and do something else to stage it. It isn't deep enough to hold books and the center cutouts are very narrow. How would you style this? Or would you just leave it empty?

I bought this chicken paper towel holder and honestly I regret nothing. 🐔

Is it practical? Technically yes.
Is it necessary? Absolutely not.
Did I still need it the second I saw it? Without question.

My partner took one look at it and said this is why we can't have savings which feels a little dramatic considering this golden chicken is clearly bringing joy, elegance, and emotional support to the kitchen.

We justtttt moved in so please don’t come for me on what the space looks like right now; but I desperatelu need ideas on how to style this in a non-80’s/90’s way. Also, my fiance refuses to put up more curtains- what would you do for the middle window? Its approx 50”x80”. I’m thinking to maybe cover it with a big painting? The whole room is covered in windows, so covering it will not mess with lighting.

We are decorating the room in a modern organic- modern Victorian style- black, white, brass, moss.

ps. It’s too high to put plants, as I won’t be able to water.

We have just had under our stairs opened up and we’re at a loss as to what to do with the space now! We don’t have a dog...
