the lacuna project operates on the assertion that classical models which view disciplines as distinct or discreet are now outmoded and that theory and practice are both alive and inextricably linked. the lacuna project now sets field, form, image, detail and projection - the elemental components of architecture, art, media and culture - as the grounds from which we approach all projects. the lacun

a project has re-framed the plenum from which these disciplines may be viewed in a manner that is better equipped to engage the interrelations and overlapping territories of these disciplines. the lacuna project is able to identify overlapping conditions and inter-penetrations between fields of inquiry and practice often viewed as distinct, thus exposing new territories of inquiry and scales from which to creatively redraw the boundaries of the world we experience.
