It’s exciting when the really big trees are installed in our projects.

The scale of the trees at this luxury residential community helps shift the experience of urban living from structure to nature.

When we learned that these century-old Rhododendrons would have to go in order to transplant a house, we decided that wasn’t an option. We tunnelled under them, digging down 2 feet to slip in steel plates beneath their root system systems for support. Then, we excavated further, inserting steel beams beneath the plates to carefully extricate and move the house. Today the rhodies are happy, healthy, and do not miss the old house that used to cozy up next to them. Instead, they are beacons along a winding drive, announcing home.
