EVER BUILD A KITCHEN FOR A CUSTOMER AND THENCOOK IN IT!?Here is a pic from before I used Instagram. Small kitchen in the upper west side. The left side are custom cabinets I built onsite. We kept the same layout, just added some extra storage and some high end appliances. Customers turned into friends and we cooked thanksgiving dinner together same year! Was a great feeling..

THIS, was my first tile job I ever took on. I had no tile experience but mentally thought to myself, I’m good with wood why not tile. I took a deposit, and bought a wet saw. The two days prior I researched the hell out of laying tile. I used an old school trick of tapping penny nails in the mesh so the tile doesn’t sag. The customer was happy and rehired me for more work. I have come a long long way, and love the tile process now. @ New York, New York

This wall was a collaboration of and myself. These panels are gorgeous and flown in from Italy. The tv pulls out if needed and all wires are hidden behind. Tv box is in a media cabinet a few feet away. @ New York, New York

I’m lucky to have passions that can interconnect. This is a Quick little kitchen renovation we completed for returning customer. Ended up installing a new window, along with additional cabinets to maximize space. Not much room in some of these nyc kitchens. @ New York, New York

The mirror in a restaurant we renovated. We did a chevron shiplap, paint is a Ben Moore color, aura, and is super sexy in person.

So much went into this bathroom. First it took a year to get building approval to even start this. I had the lead on design as this was the customers first renovation. We picked out tile they were attracted to, then walked thru all of the attributes they needed. THATS what makes this fun for me. Getting to be creative with personalized function.
1. We saved room creating a niche for the towels to hang. The shower door closing 4” away for a easy reach.
2. I was able to find a way to sink the medicine cabinet into the wall as you can see there is a spiderweb of plumbing.
3. Extra exposed shelving near the vanity.
Proper thoughtful layout allowed to relocate the electrical just inside of the vanity top.
Great new sleek shower door that slides on bottom track and fixed panel to the left.
Indirect rear lighting.
I did forget about the garbage can!! But we did hide the toilet paper holder in the wall just across the way from the toilet. Details matter in small bathrooms even more.

I found this door at a local place that takes donations to be reused in the business. I love this place. This door however, instantly catapulted my brain to a bathroom I have coming up in next couple of months. It fits the design image we’re after. I sent it to the owner to she if she liked the glass, and she responded with the last pic. @ New York, New York

This was not a fun tile to install. Any variance in the flatness of the floor and these would pick up on it. Lots of cuts. But turned out great. Used @ Brooklyn, New York

2 shower heads on this one, a rain shower and a wall mount to the left. helped with the idea to have the shower valve to the right, so you can open the door, turn on the water and not get sprayed. 3” to the outside of the door will hang towels in the niche you see. We added as much storage as function as possible to this st.james building condo.

I’m not set up for finish carpentry like this. Some jobs I will build on site. I have found I’m far too empathetic and fearless for this business. None the less, customer could not find vanity of the size and look they wanted and ask me to build one. So here is the recipe
1-sheet Walnut ply
75- Pocket screws
50’ edge banding
37squiggles- Wood glue
1qt- 2part poly
2-Nickel handles
4- soft close Blum hinges

This built felt good. Better then some others, just knowing the customer received exactly what they wanted.
