The Centauri Ascent ✨🚀
4.37 light-years from home. One step from legend.
This isn’t a staircase. It’s a launch vector.
The Build:
The spine is carbon-fiber composite, light as starlight and strong as a solar sail. Treads are sapphire glass synthesized under zero-G — deep blue with gold flecks. Triple-star shadows. You walk on Alpha, Beta, and Proxima all at once. The rise is calculated to 1.1g. Proxima b gravity. Your body remembers a world you’ve never seen.
Details From the Nearest Star System:
✨ Balustrade — Polished titanium arcs. Orbit lines. Three suns inlaid in palladium, white gold, and red gold. They align once per rotation.
🚀 Risers — Fiber optics map the constellation Centaurus. Real-time stellar drift. The arrow points home — to Sol. Or away. Your choice.
✨ Newel Post — A levitating model of Proxima Centauri b. Suspended in magnetic field. Tidal-locked. One side always burning. One side always night.
🚀 Lighting — No bulbs. The whole structure radiates with Cherenkov blue. Like a starship at warp. The walls ripple with aurora from a red dwarf flare.
This staircase doesn’t go to the second floor. It goes to the second star.
To the first exoplanet we’ll touch. To the question humanity’s been asking since we looked up: Are we alone?
Your home is the launch pad.
