Working on paperwork and scheduling late and going through emails takes a lot of time and effort but this email I received today makes it worth it! This is from Habitat For Humanity of Mecosta County. I’ve enjoyed working with these guys for several years now and they are an awesome group of people that work so hard and do so many great deeds. One of them “Lisa” is always emailing, texting, and sometimes calling me late nights, weekends including Sundays and off duty just to make things happen!

"I'd like to introduce Anna. Anna was hired in 4 weeks ago!! She works a couple days a week, cleans the lobby and talks with guests. She has quickly become the face of my store.

Today, Anna took her first order on frontline. With some assistance, she was able to navigate the screen, take names and give out change! In Anna's words herself, 'Nailed it!' ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We are proud of Anna!"

I am thankful that I have heat to keep me warm!
I am thankful that I have water to drink!
I am thankful my roof does not leak and keeps me dry!
Seems pretty simple doesn't it!! But for some people in our community it's not so simple...they have no heat, no water, leaking roofs and more. As the week heats up turn your AC on early keep your window shut your curtains closed. Even if it cools off at night if you shut your AC off and open the windows you’re going to let a lot of humidity in and it will run a lot to remove the humidity and it will be uncomfortable so you will not save any money. Make sure you replace your furnace filter and keep plants/bushes etc away from your condenser unit and hose down any dirt and pollen from it around the outside of it. Several are hard to see so might have to use a light and look at the right angle. Stay cool

Still getting text and calls at 10:00 pm 😂
Stay patient with your HVAC contractors please with this heat we get call after call because a lot of people wait till well into the heat to try out their ac to find out that it doesn’t work. That and being off can make them go bad example mice get into them in winter and chew up wires or earwigs and other bugs like to make homes in them and get into the contactors.
