Our sweet girls have been wanting to earn money with a lemonade stand all summer. We have been so busy that we just haven’t been able to make it work. Also, you know that we don’t live on a very busy street. So we thought let’s try and bring in some of our favorite people and offer up a sneak peak to the lights!
That’s right, this Saturday Chris is starting to pull out the decorations.
Who’s ready to see some behind the seems and support our favorite little entrepreneurs?
We will have fresh lemonade and we will be bringing in some fresh doughnuts from our favorite donutlandpdx
Fingers crossed for some nice weather!

Hi everyone, Chris here. I am the creator behind the lights. My wonderful wife Kendall does most the posting as I am more of a behind the scenes kind of guy. I am writing this as we just finished watching the lights as a family for the last time this season. As usual, I am constantly analyzing what worked, and what needs improvement. As the season wraps I am hyper focused on what could change, or be added to next year. Around mid October I usually tell myself “no more!”, but let’s face it, I can’t let it be. This project started as a fun hobby 3 years ago and I had no idea how it would turn out. After seeing the amazing reactions from so many people, it has become more than just a hobby. To me, this is a way to light up our community, and provide something truly positive during the holidays that everyone can enjoy, smile at and have a laugh at the lame dad jokes from Doug Fir. I have no idea what the future holds, but I plan to keep going. I learned that the previous home owners of our house also appreciated their fair share of Christmas cheer, so it’s my honor to continue that tradition. I truly appreciate all my wonderful neighbors that put up with me, and all the people who stop by, sing, honk, dance and just enjoy the show. I’m already scheming plans for next year. It’s bittersweet having to take down the lights, but we’ll be back. See you in the fall, have a wonder 2026!

Such a great weekend! You all helped us raise over $250 in one night for We then went and drove the Newberg Christmas Light Route 2025 We saw so many beautiful houses. We ended at our friends over at Newberg Lights on Lewis ct. We love this community.

Wow! You guys sold us out of the light sticks. We have about 20 bracelets left. Message if you’re interested in one of the bracelets. They are a $10 donation to A Family Place. We will have what is left available Saturday during our hot cocoa night or you can pre-order by messaging and sending a Venmo payment.

We have a fun item this year. Think… big concert vibes. We have very limited amounts of flashing bracelets and light sticks ready to go. They are programmed to the shows and blink along with the music. We are just asking for donations. Message if you are interested and I can have them ready for you. I’ll post more videos of them in action too.
