Here we have another beautiful, functional kitchen to add to our ever-expanding portfolio! 🤩 For this project, we totally gutted the existing kitchen, bonus room, and laundry room in this former bachelor pad to re-create a gorgeous space for entertaining large crowds of family and friends. Prior to the reno, these rooms were weighed down with faux wood paneling, chipped & scorched Formica countertops, and loads of taxidermy. The newlywed owners selected crisp, clean finishes to brighten up the atmosphere and balance the masculine & feminine qualities of the home.

This top secret project has been more than two years in the making and we are all thrilled to see it (finally) come to life! 😍 The much-anticipated Momma Rabbit’s expansion will add 940 additional square feet to their dining room, which doubles their seating capacity, provides room for their growing retail collection, and gives the community of Lexington, SC a gorgeous place to host special events. Everyone who worked on this project brought their A-game to create this magical garden-inspired space and I couldn’t be more pleased to see the efforts of our collaboration open to the public. It’s always special to see your sketches jump from the page to become a constructed reality. My favorite elements are the handmade items that the clients crafted together as a family, which always adds a layer of warmth that can’t be bought from any store.

Phase One of this lakeside cottage is complete! ...and just in time for Christmas gatherings! 😍

In this project, we:
•covered an outdated popcorn ceiling with whitewashed shiplap
•converted an unused guest bedroom into a den
•added a bespoke entertainment center
•created a dramatic, charcoal-grey board-and-batten wall in the foyer
•installed new hardwood floors
•redesigned the lighting plan to make the room feel taller

Phase Two includes reupholstering all of the furniture you see here and selecting gorgeous Objets d'art for this lovely home.

40 year old, builder grade floor registers get an awesome upgrade with bespoke Victorian reproduction cast iron grates. It’s the little details like these that can make a huge impact when you can’t afford a total gut job. The design in the new registers matches the diamond-paned windows that are original to this 115 year old Tudor Revival Estate.

Lexington restaurant Momma Rabbit’s Nibbles & Sips is a family-owned restaurant owned by the seven Allen siblings and named for their beloved grandmother, affectionally nicknamed Momma Rabbit.

This restaurant began with neon green walls, but after 11 1/2 months of remodeling, it now has a cozy, homegrown atmosphere. Check out Momma Rabbit's Nibbles and Sips's new look!
