🌸 The flowers are starting to ramp up!

We’ve been busy watering, fertilizing, pinching, harvesting, and keeping an eye on bugs to keep the blooms coming.

The dahlias are beginning to show off, and this is just the beginning.

More flowers are on the way! 💐✨

Farmer B reporting for duty 🫡… this boy is always ready for a farm mission!

Today’s mission: slug patrol 🐌🚨

Farmer B is on high alert for any slug that dares show up in the raspberries!

BUT he’s got a warning for all insects on the farm… if he doesn’t get to them first, there’s a mega eater out here that will! 🐞

Can you name that bug? 🤣

Just before sunset, we brought in a mini rose harvest. The blooms may still be small, but they’re already bigger and more abundant than last year’s first roses.

Seeing that progress gives us the confidence to keep doing what we’re doing. It gives us hope that soon we’ll have more blooms than we can count to share with our community.

For now, we’re right in the in-between…offering simple, heartfelt bud vases while the garden continues to build toward abundance (more info soon!).

Flower farming is a lesson in time and patience…a dance with Mother Nature that gets a little sweeter each season. 💕

👩🏻‍🌾around the farm lately…a little hard work, a little farm fun, and lots to look forward to! 💕

🐢Rescuing a box turtle and releasing it, clearing out winter-fallen trees, getting creative with the logs (made a staircase), and of course keeping a close eye on our flowers as they gear up for their summer blooms!

ps - did you catch one of our bunnies munching on a snack? 🥕

Before the flower rows and egg baskets, there was a deep love for succulents. Landed on these old photos today. Back in Miami, this was one of Farmer G's favorite things to do! Oh, how we miss working with these resilient little guys.

Thoughts? Should Farmer G bring back a few succulent creations to our lineup sometime down the road? or should we stick to just blooms?

🌱Between the spring rush and the summer explosion, we’re in the essential lead-up to the real showstoppers.

Here’s a little recap of what we have going on around the farm this week!

🔎Try to spot Farmer B’s unmatched concentration while arranging his roses. And keep an eye out for one of our farm cats living her best life in this warmer weather!

✨Yesterday, we had the honor of gifting flowers to a family who has opened their hearts and home to foster children for the past 16 years.

We were also invited to stay for dinner and spend time playing with the other children, which made the experience even more meaningful.

Thank Evanjalees Dennison and National Youth Advocate Program - West Virginia for having us! 🫶🏼

P.S. Did you catch the irises we previewed a few days ago? Here they are! They smelled so good. We can't wait for them to keep opening up in the vase for this family.

Farmer G: head of farm inventory control! 🫶🏼

Not everything on the farm is loud work…and Farmer G likes it that way. While the rest of us are covered in dirt, he’s making sure every stem is accounted for.

With his love for numbers, this was a perfect job for him. He was awesome at writing down all the tomato varieties and making sure we kept track of their specific location! 🍅

🫶🏼For the very first time ever, our irises are going to be featured in an arrangement for someone incredibly deserving.

A pretty special moment to see the blooms we nurtured become a part of something meaningful.

We can’t wait to share more soon. 💕
