Why many sealers fail after 1–6 months:
Not all sealers fail because they’re “bad products.”
Many sealers fail because of outdated or limited technology — and because of what’s actually inside the formulation.
Concrete is not solid.
It’s a porous material full of capillaries that absorb water, moisture, dirt, and Algal and Fungal Spores and bio-nutrients
like:
Pollen,
Dust,
Soil particles,
Leaf debris,
Airborne organic residues,
that feeds algae and fungi once in the pores.
That’s where the difference begins.
Left:
Untreated concrete.
Open capillaries. Water, algae, and dirt pe*****te freely.
Middle:
Typical DIY or water-based sealer.
Forms a thin film on the surface — sometimes penetrating only 1–3 mm at best.
Looks protected at first, but the concrete underneath remains vulnerable.
This is why many sealers fail after weeks or a few months.
Most DIY sealers contain over 90% water, diluted formulas, and low-quality active ingredients.
They’re inexpensive — but they can’t protect where it actually matters.
Right:
True nano-impregnation.
The active components pe*****te deep into the capillary structure, bonding inside the concrete — not just on top.
Protection is built from within, not sprayed on.
