Crown Ace Hardware is a family-owned and operated chain that got its beginning in 1949 as a single "mom and pop" hardware store in Corona del Mar. The name is derived from the community itself. Translated from Spanish, Corona del Mar means "Crown of the Sea." Owners Jeff Schulein and his son Mark have expanded into additional communities, and now proudly operate 17 Crown Ace Hardware stores in Orange County, San Diego County, Riverside, Yucaipa, and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. For the 9th year in a row, Ace Hardware has been ranked the "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Improvement Retail Stores" according to J.D. Power & Associates (2007-2015).

Today, his foundation honors his legacy by supporting ocean safety, scholarships, and programs that inspire courage, service, and leadership in our communities.
