I’m continually on the search to find a way to turn sentimental flowers into an heirloom. I’ve finally found a way that I love! Most people wait until the flowers are past the point of preserving, but I an loving the way the old petals bring character to the clay beads. Now to work on my jewelry making skills. I have so many ideas for metal wrapping! What a great way to remember special moments.

I was privileged to kick off the weekend wedding celebrations for a good friend by catering their rehearsal dinner. The evening brought freezing temperatures and snow, ❄️ but inside, it felt like we were on a tropical Hawaiian island. 🌴 Everyone feasted, laughed, and celebrated in true luau style! 🌺🍍

Who says you can’t bring the island vibes to any season? Throw yourself a luau, no matter the weather—all you need is a reason to celebrate. 🥳

I’ve been wanting to jump on the granny square bandwagon! Not sure how these super old crafts became trendy again, but I’m all for recycling and reviving old skills.

Now that the holidays have finally wound down, I can focus on figuring these out. The idea was to use up all my scrap yarn from previous projects, but… I caved and bought a few new colors because I’m looking forward to spring.

If you need me, I’ll be in my trim making granny squares. Later, I’ll decide what to turn them into. What’s your vote? Bags, blankets, sweaters, or home decor?
