Want to make a special treat for your mother this weekend? ๐๐ฏ Try Baklava Monkey Bread using Tom's Honey
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup Tom's Honey
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pistachios
- 2 packs of Pillsbury Grands Flaky Biscuits
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- For the syrup, in a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, cream, butter, and lemon zest. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat. Simmer while uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine walnuts, pistachios, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
- Generously grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or a bundt pan. Spoon half of the nut mixture into the prepared skillet. Top with half of the dough pieces and drizzle with half of the syrup, repeat these layers.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Let stand for 5-10 minutes, then invert onto a platter. Spoon any toppings and nuts remaining in the pan over the bread.
