Pure soy wax has a lower melting point than many paraffin blends, which means it releases fragrance more gently as the wax softens; but that lower melt point also makes proper wick sizing crucial—too large a wick overheats the soy pool and burns off scent, while too small a wick causes tunneling and weak throw.

We test wick and wax pairings for each scent so our soy candles balance steady flame and true fragrance.
