Developed as a Marshall Fire rebuild, this Scandinavian-inspired home is organized as two primary volumes connected by a transparent entry that frames views straight through the house. The site plan reinforces this clarity, with the approach and landscape guiding arrival and emphasizing the central connection between the two masses.
Private spaces are grouped to one side, with kitchen, dining, and living areas on the other, creating separation while maintaining visual and spatial connection. The digital model and site plan were used together to test scale, orientation, and how the home sits comfortably within the lot.
Simple forms, durable materials, and clear relationships between building and site guide the design as it moves from model to construction.
