Little basement refresh. New black walls, stained the countertops, replaced bar shelves to match counters and added strip lighting. Installed a slat wall behind the new projector and screen, replaced and upgraded all speaker and HDMI cables.

Basement shower remodel. Existing tile shower was starting to show signs of wear and tear. It was also pretty cramped with the bench taking up half the space. After demo, I reframed the space to fit a 32x48 trench drain shower pan. Next up was installing backer boards to create a waterproof enclosure for the shower walls. Faux tile shower panels are a great alternative to traditional molded walls and much cheaper than actual tile. Added a premade metal shower niche to create a space for soap and shampoo. A semi-frameless shower door completed the transformation.

Custom entry storage cabinet. 6' wide cabinet with three 24" sections. Each section has upper storage for baskets, hooks for coats/backpacks, and a full extension drawer for shoes. Definitely improved the functionality of this entry hallway.

Partial bathroom remodel. New vinyl plank flooring and vanity with dual vessel sinks. Had to remove the old vanity, tile backsplash and soffit, which resulted in some drywall repair. Client decided to use kitchen cabinets for the new vanity and a pantry cabinet for extra storage. The new layout more than doubled their amount of storage space. A large mirror and new vanity light finished off the space nicely.

Client wanted to give their girls quick access to each other's rooms but also maintain privacy. Used a dual pocket door kit from who make some of the best pocket door systems on the market.

After removing some outlets and drywall, had to reframe the wall to fit the door frames. Once the doors were sliding perfect and the soft open/close mechanisms were dialed in, it was time to add drywall and then paint.

This was a fun project and I'm sure the girls are going to love having a massive room the share 😀

Client had their basement flood so they decided to add a French drain around the perimeter of the basement that leads to a new sump pump pit. Unfortunately that meant the bottom half of the existing wall had to be removed so they could add a trench for the new drain pipe. This also meant I couldn't just repair the walls in place above the new drain. The solution was to build a half wall in front of the old wall and add a drink rail around the whole basement. Took the opportunity to add a new peninsula bar top, and some storage cabinets below the TVs. New vinyl plank flooring and carpet in the playroom and stairs as well.

Custom TV wall built to hold the TV, soundbar, and a 72" electric fireplace. Also added six cubbies with lights.

Re-did this basement bar with new cabinets, upgraded fridge, quartz countertop, and extra lighting. Then added oak wood strips to the main wall in preparation for the projection TV. Projector is an Epsom short-throw laser that sits in the cabinet below the screen. This projector and screen combo is absolutely amazing even with plenty of ambient light in the room.
